How do I add titles and descriptions to my form?
You can use "Special Fields" to add structural and informational elements to your form, helping to guide respondents.
Available Special Fields:
- Title: This field allows you to add a brief title or heading within the body of your form. It's useful for creating sections or labeling groups of related fields.
- Description: This field provides a rich text editor where you can add detailed instructions, explanations, or any other formatted text. This helps clarify what information is needed, reducing errors and improving completion rates.
How to Use Special Fields:
- Login to your Tiger Form account.
- Go to "Manage Forms" page, and get inside the form builder for either an existing form (click "Edit Form") or make a new form (click "Create Form").
- In the form builder, find the "Special Fields" section in the "Form Components" panel.
- Click on "Title" or "Description" to add it to your form.
- For a Title field: Click on it to edit the label text.
- For a Description field: Click on it to open the rich text editor. You can:
- Format text (bold, italic, underline).
- Change font, text color, and background color.
- Create lists (bulleted or numbered).
- Align text.
- Add hyperlinks, images, and more.
