How do I manage the fields and layout of my form?
The form layout in TIGER FORM is a single-column structure where you can arrange fields. You have several tools to manage these fields efficiently.
To manage the fields and layout, after logging in to your Tiger Form account, go to "Manage Forms". Then click "Edit Form" on the form you want to edit. On the next page, you can proceed with the changes you want to make.
Key Form Layout and Field Management Functions:
- Header: This is the top section of your form where you can add a Title and a Subtitle/Description. This gives respondents context about the form's purpose.
- Form Field: This is any input area on your form (e.g., text box, checkbox). You can drag and drop fields in the central panel to reorder them.
- Clone Form Field: To duplicate an existing field with all its settings, hover over the field and click the "Clone" button. This is useful for quickly adding multiple similar fields.
- Edit Form Field: To modify a field's properties (like its label, options, or validation rules), hover over it and click the "Edit" button. The settings will appear in a panel on the right.
- Delete Form Field: To remove a field you no longer need, hover over it and click the "Delete" button.
How to Preview Your Layout:
Use the "Preview" button, located in the top-right area or at the bottom of the left-hand panel. This will open a new view showing how your form will look to respondents. You can toggle between Mobile View and Desktop View to ensure your form is responsive and looks great on all devices.
