How do I create a new form?

You can create a new form in two ways: by starting from a blank slate or by using a pre-designed template to get a head start.


Method 1: Create a Form from Scratch

This option gives you complete control to build a form exactly to your specifications.

  1. Log in to your Tiger Form account.
  2. Navigate to the Dashboard: After logging in, go to your main dashboard (the "Manage Forms" page).
  3. Click Create Form: At the top of the dashboard, click the “Create Form +” button.
  4. Go to the Form Builder: You will be redirected to the "Create Form" page, which is the main form editor.
  5. Add Fields: On the left side of the page, you will see the "Form Components" panel. Click on any field (e.g., Name, Short Text, Picture) to add it to your form.
  6. Customize and Build: Continue adding and arranging fields until your form is complete. You can then customize the QR code, save the form, or preview it.

Method 2: Create a Form from a Template

This is the fastest way to create a form for common use cases like registrations or surveys.

  1. Log in to your Tiger Form account.
  2. Navigate to the Dashboard: Go to your main "Manage Forms" page.
  3. Choose a Template: At the top of the dashboard, click the “Choose a Template” button.
  4. Browse and Select: You will be taken to the "Templates" page, which has a library of pre-designed forms organized by category. Browse the templates and click "Use Template" on the one that fits your needs.
  5. Customize in the Editor: The template will automatically load into the form editor. From here, you can add, remove, or edit any of the fields and change the appearance to match your requirements.
